My fiances mom and sister are suppose to be planning my baby shower. That wasnt official by the way. When I became pregnant we all just pretty much said that we would have the shower in July. We didn’t talk about who was actually throwing it. I offered to pay for a lot of the food and all of that stuff. The thing is that my shower is July 29th and no one has done anything. I am the one who got all of the invitations and sent them out. It was like pulling teeth to get some addresses from his mom and sister. I still havn’t got some. I live with his mom and the other day I was like we need to start shopping for prizes for the games and his mom was like yeah we will. His sister is actually the least organized. I asked her if she was going to do the games and she said sure but she hasnt done anything either. I am scared that its going to come time for the shower and we wont have anything to do. Am I being too controlling about the whole thing?
I guess I am just scared that if I just sit back and let them do everything that nothing will get done and I have family coming from out of state. I would **** it if they drove all this way and there was nothing to do. I want to start planning the games and stuff but I would **** to tell his sister to get on the ball because they are suppose to be doing this for me.

Ok, first off, is it ok to play a baby shower game that would result in some money for the mom to be? If its not too tacky, any ideas on some games would be great…i mean, what about a 50/50 raffle, or something?
